CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY – CALITASWORLD
1. Cancellation Policy
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.
After an order is confirmed, it is immediately processed and enters the preparation, personalisation and/or production stage, at which point the artisanal manufacturing process and logistical arrangements begin. This usually occurs within a few hours after purchase.
Due to the nature of the products sold by CALITASWORLD — which are made to order, handcrafted and, in most cases, personalised — order cancellations are not accepted after confirmation.
Customers are therefore strongly advised to carefully review all order details before completing the purchase, including model, size, colours, personalisation options and shipping information.
2. Returns Policy
2.1. Personalised products
CALITASWORLD is a sustainable, artisan brand that operates through manual, non-industrial production. Many of its products are manufactured exclusively to order, based on the specifications provided by the customer.
Pursuant to Article 17(c) of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products or products made according to the consumer’s specifications.
The following, among others, are considered personalised products:
Footwear with initials, embroidery or specific colours
Products featuring illustrations, portraits or pet customisations
Models with fur finishes or special materials
Products included in special or capsule collections (including the Christmas Edition)
👉 All personalised products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, except in the event of a manufacturing defect or an error attributable to CALITASWORLD.
Estimated production times:
Simple personalisations (initials, details): 15 to 25 business days
Personalisations with illustrations or pet portraits: up to 30 business days
2.2. Defective or incorrect products
All products are carefully inspected prior to shipment. However, if the customer receives a product with a manufacturing defect or one that does not correspond to the order placed, the customer must:
Notify CALITASWORLD within 5 days of receiving the order
Contact CALITASWORLD via email at info@calitashoes.com
Provide the order number and attach supporting photographs
After assessment, CALITASWORLD will propose, as applicable, repair, replacement or refund, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
After 14 days, no requests for exchange or return will be accepted.
2.3. Exchanges and associated costs
CALITASWORLD does not offer free exchanges.
Whenever an exchange is accepted (only in legally applicable cases), the customer must:
Send the product to the address indicated by CALITASWORLD
Bear all shipping costs, customs duties and any applicable additional charges
Any returned shipment that generates customs fees or import duties must have such charges paid by the customer prior to acceptance by CALITASWORLD.
2.4. Sizes and fit adjustments
A detailed Size Guide is provided to assist customers in selecting the correct size.
If, after consulting the Size Guide and placing an order, the customer is not satisfied with the fit, they may contact CALITASWORLD. Where possible, CALITASWORLD may assess the creation of a new size or specific adjustment, without assuming the associated shipping costs.
2.5. Personalisation costs
The cost of personalisation per image or illustration is €50 and is non-refundable once the production order has been issued.
3. Acceptance of the Policy
By placing an order through the CALITASWORLD online store, the customer declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted this Cancellation and Returns Policy.
